We have been invited to the Woodhall Spa 1940s weekend, and being a village setting, it has the potential to be a very realistic Air Raid scenario involving lots of people.
We have also heard that the management of The Golf Hotel are happy to host the scenario, subject to agreeing details, such as where we can spray water and put ladders and smoke.
We will also be able to do a great turn-out, and drive through the streets of the village, bells ringing. The Hotel could be hosting musical entertainment before and after the scenario, ensuring a great crowd.
On my way home from a meeting near Skegness today, I had the opportunity for a recce. So here are the photos.
