Events 2023

We are at Melton Mowbray (13th/14th May) which will be the NFS on a training exercise pumping water from the river. We may also be able to do a high-level rescue with the TL. https://40sweekendmeltonmowbray.mystrikingly.com/

The Great Central Railway is returning to a traditional 1940s weekend, Fri 2nd June to Sunday 4th June. We will be doing our traditional air raid here, in which a German bomber attacks a train containing TNT and valuable petrol. https://www.gcrailway.co.uk/special-events/wartime/

There is a possibility of some of us going to a new event, Sheffield 999 run by our friends at the National Emergency Services Museum at Sheffield. This will be at Wentworth Woodhouse on 1st to 2nd July. https://999show.co.uk/

Our friends at Lincolnshire Fire Aid are running a 999 show at Great Gonnersby over the weekend of 23rd to 24th July.

Last year, we rather enjoyed our time at the 1940s event at Stapleford Park near Melton Mowbray, so we are going again on 29th to 30th July. https://staplefordestate.co.uk/events/#iLightbox[1940s%20Poster%202023]/0
