Today Dan, James, Michael and I worked on the pump trailer. The idea is to adapt a red Coventry Climax trailer to carry one of our Beresford Stork pumps.
So it has had new tyres, a serious wire-brush all over, and grey paint all over. The guide rails for the climax are just too narrow for the Beresford, and the end stops are in the wrong place. So we have moved the end stops from the front of the pump and re-used them at the back.
It will just need another coat of paint on the top. Then we can see if we can get the pump to work! Then more painting…
