Great Central Railway 1940s Weekend
Quorn Station is the main base for Home Front services, with many attractions. We usually try to do a minor air raid there as a starter for the season.
We are planning to take the Turntable Ladder, the K2 and trailer pump, and possibly the mobile canteen.
Each day, we plan to do a couple of training exercises on the Turntable Ladder, and to demonstrate the equipment in a ‘training exercise’ environment.
